A youth-led organisation in Cox’s Bazar has been recognised for efforts focused on inclusion, community participation and strengthening social cohesion through peacebuilding initiatives.
Climate Justice Bangladesh (CJB) has received a Crest of Recognition for its contribution to youth-led peacebuilding and social cohesion initiatives in Cox’s Bazar, a district in southeastern Bangladesh.
The recognition was presented under the Youth-Led Peacebuilding and Social Cohesion Initiatives in Bangladesh and Myanmar (YPSC) project, acknowledging CJB’s role in strengthening youth participation in peacebuilding and promoting social cohesion within communities in Cox’s Bazar.
Abdul Manir Nabil, Media Secretary of CJB, received the Crest of Recognition on behalf of the organisation.
CJB said its peacebuilding work is connected with justice, inclusion, community participation and the meaningful engagement of young people. The organisation works to create spaces where young people can contribute to stronger, more inclusive and resilient communities.
The recognition reflects the collective efforts of CJB representatives, volunteers, partners and well-wishers who have contributed to the organisation’s work on youth engagement, social cohesion and peacebuilding.
