C3ER, BRAC University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Dhrubotara Youth Development Foundation to strengthen youth leadership in climate action and resilience in Bangladesh.
The agreement reflects a shared commitment to advancing climate research, knowledge exchange, youth empowerment and collaborative action for a more resilient and sustainable Bangladesh, according to the announcement.
Under the partnership, C3ER, BRAC University and Dhrubotara Youth Development Foundation will work to co-develop research initiatives, strengthen capacity-building programmes, promote climate awareness and engage young people in meaningful climate action.
The collaboration will also support evidence-based policy dialogue, advocacy, training and innovative projects addressing climate resilience.
The initiative will seek to ensure the inclusion of youth, children, persons with disabilities, ethnic communities and other vulnerable groups.
By combining scientific research, youth leadership and community engagement, the two organisations aim to inspire innovative solutions, strengthen local resilience and empower the next generation of changemakers to lead climate action with knowledge, purpose and impact.
The partnership is also expected to create new opportunities for collaboration, innovation and sustainable development benefiting communities across Bangladesh and beyond.
