Six jungle fowls released into Kaptai forest

The flows were rescued from a bridge at Rangamati Sadar Upazila on Wednesday

Officials of the Forest Department have released six jungle fowls, locally known as bon morog, in the reserve forests of the Kaptai Range in Rangamati.

Kaptai Range Officer ASM Mohiuddin Chowdhury led the release on Thursday in the presence of the key members of a special team from Rangamadi Sadar Range, Chittagong Hill Tracts North Forest Division and Jhum Control Forest Department.

The flows were rescued from a bridge at Rangamati Sadar Upazila on Wednesday.
