Relief materials sent to Bhotekoshi flood victims in Rasuwa

The relief package includes cooking fuel, stoves, clothing, rice, pulses, essential food items and kitchen utensils for households affected by the Bhotekoshi River flood.

The Federation of Community Forestry Users, Nepal (FECOFUN) has provided relief materials to Uttargaya Rural Municipality for families affected by the devastating flood in the Bhotekoshi River.

According to a letter sent by the federation’s federal secretariat in Changunarayan Municipality-2, Bhaktapur, the relief materials were provided in response to the immediate needs of households affected by the flood.

The relief package includes 50 LPG cylinders, 50 gas stoves, 100 electric stoves and 350 sets of clothing.

The federation has also provided 1,000 packets/bags of Jeera Masino rice, 400 sets of pulses, sugar, cooking oil and salt and 500 sets of kitchen utensils.

The kitchen utensil sets include items such as pressure cookers, karai, plates and bowls, according to the letter.

The federation said the materials were provided to support families affected by the disaster and requested the rural municipality to coordinate the distribution and provide the necessary documentation and support.
