Mukesh Pokhrel

Mr. Mukesh Pokhrel is a Nepali journalist based in Kathmandu. His career spans two decades and he has written extensively on climate change, environment and forest issues. Mr. Pokhrel is currently a Special Correspondent with Himal Khabarpatrika, a national weekly magazine, and also works for the Nepali times weekly. He has attended several global events such as the Asia-Pacific Leadership Programme on Environment and Sustainable Development in Shanghai, China, in 2019, the 2nd Asia Global Investigative Journalism Conference as a Panelist in 2016 in Kathmandu, Nepal, the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP22) in Marrakesh, Morocco, in 2016, and the Hindu Kush Himalayan Conference in 2017.
